My So-Called Life
Let’s admit it- a part of us will always miss 90′s fashion- bright colors, babydoll dresses, stonewash blue jeans, flannel shirts– the works. My So-Called Life embodies this formal-meets-casual style so unique to that era. The show utilized fashion in a unique way to reflect how teenagers grapple with their identity, and how clothing choices can play a major role in defining who you are. While we may not actually wear these on-screen styles (WTF is going on with Rayanne’s hair?!), they are definitely worthy of recognition.
